Babbo, a neighbourhood Italian restaurant concept, will officially open its doors in St John’s Wood in December 2024, offering a charming all-day dining experience, focusing on authentic Italian cuisine, from breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.

The elegant restaurant is set to be split between a main restaurant space, intimate lounge and bar area. Seating up to 84 pax inside, the space will offer a dining option for all occasions. A fully heated outside terrace is also set to launch, seating up to  24 pax.

Babbo’s menu, curated by Executive Chef Nicola Cariglia, will highlight the rich and diverse flavours of Italy. Guests can look forward to signature dishes such as the Babbo Parmagiana, Angel Hair White Ragout, Lardo di Colonnata, Grilled Baby Chicken and Spaghetoni Gragnano with Chilli Mussels and Baby Squid, each crafted with the finest ingredients, bringing a taste of La Dolce Vita to St John’s Wood.

The main bar and intimate lounge area will boast a curated selection of fine wines and handcrafted cocktails including Pompello Spritz, Verdita Margarita, and Sage Cherry Negroni. Situated amongst the hustle and bustle of St John’s Wood High Street, Babbo will provide the perfect setting for both casual dining and special occasions, embodying the warmth of Italian dining culture and dolce vita.

Executif chef of Babbo, Nicola Cariglia, states, “We are thrilled to introduce Babbo to the vibrant community of St John’s Wood. Our vision is to create a space where guests can gather to enjoy delicious food, great wine, and the company of friends and family. We believe in the power of good food to bring people together and look forward to welcoming our neighbours to Babbo!.”
