Upmarket prepared meal brand FieldGoods announce B-Corp certification

Upmarket prepared meal brand FieldGoods has been certified as a B-Corp in recognition of the brand’s
“field to freezer to fork” approach and commitment to sustainability, as a part of its mission to reinvent the
ready meal.

Assessed on the company’s impact on the environment, community, customers, employees and company
structure, FieldGoods scored 84 in the B Impact Assessment after a rigorous review process. As a part of the
FieldGoods business model, environmental responsibility is a key focus, with employee training on the
matter, and considerations built into all roles and KPIs across the business.

Working to reduce environmental impact, all packaging is either home compostable or recyclable, with a
specific program for customers to return cool blocks and insulated liners. At FieldGoods HQ, green energy
from 100% renewable or carbon offset sources is used – including solar panels – resulting in a scope 1 & 2
carbon intensity of 0.

Suppliers are carefully chosen and ethically sourced, working with regenerative pioneers Wildfarmed;
ChalkStream for their wonderful rainbow trout and Moxons fishmongers to smoke their own North Sea
Coley; no stone has been left unturned. All meat is free range, grass fed and native breed, reared on the
Yorkshire moors.

Elliot Day, Co-Founder at FieldGoods comments: “We’re delighted to have certified as a B-Corp. We entirely
believe in the process of continuous improvement it champions, it complements the way we have always
run the business. The hard work continues from here.”

Sam Day, Co-Founder at FieldGoods comments: “While we’re constantly looking out for new developments
in the field, we’re particularly proud of our high employee satisfaction and existing supplier relationships, all
of whom have contributed in some way towards becoming certified.”

About FieldGoods

FieldGoods was founded by Elliot and Sam Day in 2021 after three years on the London dining scene. Having
been forced to close during the pandemic, the brothers moved back to Devon where they rediscovered
home cooking and, with a shared passion for sustainability, FieldGoods was founded out of their kitchen.
Available from independent retailers across the UK,

FieldGoods can be ordered online with next day
delivery nationwide from www.fieldgoods.co.uk.
