Pulling out the stops for the start of the zodiac season, UBA is offering a limited-time menu inspired by traditional Chinese dishes with Pan-Asian twists. Enjoy the likes of money bag dim sum packed with prawns and scallops; Serpent’s spice rendang curry chicken skewers; and traditional celebratory Longevity Noodles. Those dining from UBA’s Lunar New Year menu will receive a hongbao red envelope filled with special offers, like 10% off food and 15% off cocktails, to redeem during a future visit.

Experience the magic of the Lunar New Year in the heart of Mayfair at The Arch Bar, located in the prestigious InterContinental London Park Lane. Available from 27th January to 2nd February, enjoy a set Dim Sum Menu of lobster and chive dumplings; indulgent sesame chicken tart; and fiery lotus crisp, paired perfectly with the limited-edition Rattlesnake cocktail (£14) made with Baijiu, absinthe, lemon juice, sugar syrup and aquafaba.

Chop Chop by the Four Seasons | West End

Ring in the Lunar New Year at one of London’s most authentic and acclaimed Cantonese restaurants, Chop Chop by the Four Seasons, located in the heart of the West End and open from 6pm-4am daily. Those born under the snake Chinese Zodiac sign will be offered 20% off the entire menu, redeemable Monday 20th – Thursday 23rd and Tuesday 28th – Thursday 30th January. Those visiting on the eve of Lunar New Year will receive a traditional hongbao red envelope as a symbol for good fortune, prosperity, and blessings for the new year.

Omboo at Sopwell House | Hertfordshire

Elegant Asian inspired restaurant, Omboo, at Sopwell House, will be serving up four vibrant and celebratory dishes exclusive to Lunar New Year. Available from 28th January – 12th February, expect the likes of Prosperity king prawns, eaten to symbolise happiness in the family; and a Rainbow salad with salmon carpaccio, paying homage to the tradition of salad tossing with friends and family while sharing well wishes. Additionally, the restaurant will be gifting Hong Baos for every table – each envelope filled with a surprise from inspirational Asian proverbs, complimentary cocktails through to an entirely free meal at Omboo.
