Spring is in full swing at Danish-Japanese restaurant group, Sticks′n′Sushi, as it brings the magic of Japan’s Sakura season to the UK this April. Adding a floral flair to its signature combination of sushi and grilled sticks, enjoy creative cocktails and Sakura inspired dishes in honour of hanami, the Japanese tradition of enjoying cherry blossom in bloom.

Complete with lobster, avocado, Sakura rice, miso aioli and lumpfish roe, indulge in the Sakura House Roll (£15.20), or for the ultimate sweet treat, opt for the perfectly pink Sakura Cherī Fondant (£9.80) with a gooey Amarena cherry and white chocolate core, served with vanilla ice cream and cherry biscuit crumble.

A selection of limited-edition cocktails with a delicate floral twist will be available, including Beneath the Sakura Tree (£14) with Pisco Aba, St-Germain and Pandan foam; Sakura Vesper (£15) with Botanist Gin, Sake Ono Junmai Daiginjo, olive brine and lemon oil; and The Sakura Dew (£14) with Akashi Tai Yuzushu and St-Germain topped with strawberry shrub. For those seeking a non-alcoholic cocktail, The Sakura Blush (£10) is a refreshing Sakura tea with Everleaf Forest spirit topped up with sparkling tea peony blush.

At Sticks′n′Sushi Covent Garden, premium elderflower liqueur St-Germain will be taking over the Henrietta Street terrace – adorned with traditional ikebana arrangements of Sakura and elderflower, guests can enjoy the spring specials as they watch the world go by.

Available from 27th March to 27th April, the Sakura specials will be available at all 15 Sticks′n′Sushi locations: Wimbledon, Covent Garden, Greenwich, Canary Wharf, Victoria, King’s Road, Soho, White City, Shoreditch, Kingston, Oxford, Cambridge, Richmond, Islington and Battersea.

Mata Dozo this Sakura season at Sticks′n′Sushi!
