Haute Dolci Launches Matilda Cake

Haute Dolci, renowned for its exquisite desserts, is thrilled to introduce the Matilda Cake at all 20 Haute Dolci branches across the UK from this October, a delectable creation inspired by the iconic scene from the beloved film, Matilda.

The Haute Dolci’s Matilda Cake is a luxurious, five-layered chocolate masterpiece, crafted with the finest ingredients and a touch of pure artistry. Each layer is a revelation: moist, rich, and dense, a testament to the classic comfort of homemade chocolate cake elevated to new heights. Between these layers, velvety chocolate ganache flows like liquid silk, adding depth and intensity to every bite. Designed to evoke the memory of Bruce Bogtrotter’s epic cake-eating challenge, this dessert is a celebration of childhood, victory, and the sheer joy of indulging in a sweet treat.

Topped with a glossy chocolate glaze and a sprinkle of chocolate shavings, the Matilda Cake is a visual feast. But it’s the unexpected “Pull me” element that truly sets it apart, a delightful surprise that adds an interactive dimension to this extraordinary dessert.

“We wanted to create a dessert that would transport people back to their childhood and evoke the same sense of wonder and excitement that the Matilda movie did,” said Nizam Mohamed, Managing Director at Haute Dolci. “The Matilda Cake is more than just a dessert; it’s a symbol of resilience and the power of the human spirit.”

TAKEOUT 1

The Matilda Cake is available at all Haute Dolci locations across the UK branches. Prices start at just £15, making it the perfect treat for any occasion. Customers can enjoy the Matilda Cake in-store or order it for takeaway through click-and-collect or popular delivery apps.
