Bat & Ball Launches ‘Kids Play Free’ Offer for August at Stratford and Covent Garden Locations

Bat & Ball, London’s high-energy games bar known for blending great food, drink and social gaming, has announced a new family friendly summer offer.

Throughout August, children can play for free at both its Stratford and Covent Garden venues.

Running from 1st to 31st August between 12pm and 5pm daily, the offer allows kids to enjoy a free 30-minute game session when accompanied by a paying adult.

The promotion is valid for walk-ins and pre-booked guests, with no minimum spend required. With entertainment options ranging from ping pong and karaoke to pool and darts in Stratford, and the addition of neon-lit crazy golf at the newly opened Covent Garden flagship, Bat & Ball is the go-to destination for family-friendly fun this summer.

The offer comes as families seek engaging and affordable ways to spend time together during the school holidays.

A spokesperson for Bat & Ball said: “We’re all about bringing people together through games, food and fun. This summer, we wanted to make it even easier for families to enjoy what Bat & Ball has to offer. Whether you’re looking to celebrate a birthday, or just enjoy a spontaneous afternoon out, kids can now get stuck into the games on us. It’s a chance for everyone to switch off and have a great time – no screens, no stress.”

Both venues offer a full food and drink menu designed to cater to all ages. Featuring wood-fired pizzas, stacked smash burgers, and a wide range of soft and alcoholic drinks, the menu has proven popular with large groups, celebrations and casual family visits alike.

The Covent Garden location officially opened in March 2025 and is the largest site yet for parent group Urban Pubs and Bars, offering 12,000 square feet of gaming, dining and events space.

Bookings and further information about the August offer can be found at www.thebatandball.com.
