The fizz was flowing last night as The Ivy Canterbury Brasserie celebrated its highly anticipated opening with a dazzling launch party. The exclusive event welcomed local guests, offering them a first look inside the stunning new venue. Guests walked a luxurious green carpet, setting the tone for a night filled with exceptional food, vibrant entertainment, and the signature elegance The Ivy brand is known for.

Situated at the corner of The Parade & Rose Lane, The Ivy Canterbury Brasserie boasts a stunning interior that reflects the brand’s signature elegance. With seating for 180 diners, a chic bar, a charming outdoor terrace, and an intimate private dining room, the brasserie offers a sophisticated setting for every occasion. From the intricate detailing to the welcoming ambiance, the décor reflects The Ivy’s dedication to creating an inviting yet luxurious dining experience.

The opening party was a huge success, featuring a DJ, violinist and dancing flower performers, offering a playful nod to Kent’s heritage as the Garden of England. Attendees enjoyed a taste of what’s to come with a variety of canapés inspired by timeless menu classics and modern dishes made with local and seasonal ingredients. Guests’ glasses were topped up with The Ivy Cuvée which also will feature on the menu once doors open on 29 October.

General Manager Diogo Bolan expressed his excitement about the party, stating, “We are thrilled to officially launch The Ivy Canterbury Brasserie. The party was an incredible success, and it was wonderful to see our guests enjoying the atmosphere and entertainment. Canterbury’s rich history and dynamic community make it the perfect location for our latest venture and our team is passionate about delivering exceptional service and creating unforgettable dining experiences. We can’t wait to welcome everyone next week.”

With its official public opening set for 29th October 2024, The Ivy Canterbury Brasserie is poised to become a must-visit destination for locals and visitors alike. The restaurant will be The Ivy Collection’s 41st, creating 140 jobs in Canterbury’s hospitality sector. As excitement builds, reservations are now open, giving diners the chance to be among the first to experience this stunning new addition to Canterbury’s thriving food scene.
